Michael Littenberg-Brown
Born and raised in Cambridge, MA, Michael is now living in New York City pursuing a Masters in International Affairs at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). Prior to going back to graduate school, Michael worked as a regional development fundraiser for Brown University, where he also received his undergraduatedegree in Political Theory and Latin American Studies. Prior to working for Brown, Michael was Director of Sales at UniTeller Financial Services, now part of Banorte.
Michael traveled Israel in December of 2008 on a Birthright tour with Young Judea, and while there visited and got to know Save a Child’s Heart. Returning to the States, Michael decided to continue his Israel experience by organizing a young professionals group in NYC to support SACH through events, social networking, and fundraising. After building a successful committee in New York with social and philanthropic events, a second Young Professionals Committee was launched in Washington D.C. in the spring of 2010, and a third in Boston in the spring of 2011. Michael is now working with a talented group of committed supporters to launch a national Young Leadership Group Advisory Board to support the continued growth of SACH Young Professionals Committees in the U.S.
Michael serves on the Board of Save a Child’s Heart U.S. and as Young Leadership Chairman in a volunteer capacity for Save a Child’s Heart. He believes strongly in the mission of Save a Child’s Heart and the hope for peaceful co-existence in Israel, as well as the core belief of the organization, “to save a child is to save a world.”
