MORE ON OUR EVENT
On November 1, The Common Good hosts a Luncheon Briefing with Emmy-winning broadcast journalist, former Texas judge, and New York Times bestselling author Catherine Crier. Ms. Crier will talk about the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ movement and her new book, Patriot Acts-What Americans Must Do to Save the Republic, in which she explains how the current economic crisis and growing civil unrest is the predictable result of wrong-headed actions by both political parties, why more than just our financial well-being is at stake, and how ‘Occupy Wall Street’ is both a natural reaction and a necessary step towards recovery.
