Ed Kneale – TCG Intern
Ed Kneale is from Guilsfield, a small village on the England/Wales border in the UK. Whilst at Secondary School in rural Wales, he was Deputy Head Boy, President of the Debating Society and a member of the cricket, squash, tennis and soccer squads. After graduating with straight A’s he indulged his love of travelling by spending a year coaching youth cricket near Cape Town, South Africa and working on a range of ecological projects for the youth and sustainable development charity Raleigh International in Mysore, Southern India.
Now a rising senior at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, Ed is majoring in Modern History. Whilst the famous golf courses surrounding the campus are an inevitable distraction, Ed manages to balance his time between research for his dissertation on the English East India Company, his role as President of the University Cricket Club and Student Brand Manager for Red Bull. Most of his other time is spent plotting a professional path that will stimulate his passion for international relations and politics but allow for the travelling and sport that he has always enjoyed. As such, he hopes to enter the British Foreign Office after he graduates in 2013.
